The Irene Dunne Guild is one of Saint John’s Health Center's most vital philanthropic and service groups. Founded by the late actress Irene Dunne in 1987, the Guild has raised over $16 million to benefit Saint John’s Health Center programs, equipment and special projects.

Treats for caregivers 2025

Thank you to the Irene Dunne Guild volunteers for another incredible Treats for Caregivers!
Treats for Caregivers, held on Wednsday Sept 17, is one of the Guild's signature annual events and this year we handed out over 800 ice creams to Saint John’s caregivers and medical staff across both the day and night shift. Attendees were also able to win gift cards donated from local businesses through trivia, hula hooping and cornhole. A special thank you to local businesses who supported with generous donations including Shake Shack, Randy's Donuts, El Cholo, Mendocino Farms, Lemon Nails & Spa, Uppers Cafe, Santa Monica Seafood & Cookie Good. The Irene Dunne Guild is a major support group for Providence Saint John's Health Center.
The members of the Guild are goodwill ambassadors to the community and are dedicated to the promotion of the charitable objectives of the Health Center.

Irene Dunne Guild members have been serving the health center for 37 years and remain committed to strengthening Saint John’s for our community. Like our namesake, Irene Dunne, we put their hearts forward, finding innovative ways to raise funds, comfort patients, educate their community and nurture the Health Center's mission of compassionate care.
