The Irene Dunne Guild is one of Saint John’s Health Center's most vital philanthropic and service groups. Founded by the late actress Irene Dunne in 1987, the Guild has raised over $16 million to benefit Saint John’s Health Center programs, equipment and special projects.

TREATS FOR CAREGIVERS 2026 Thank you to the Irene Dunne Guild volunteers for another incredible Treats for Caregivers! On September 3, the Irene Dunne Guild hosted its annual Treats for Caregivers at Providence Saint John’s Health Center. More than 800 caregivers gathered in Mullin Plaza for an afternoon of ice cream, music, games, and giveaways. This signature event is the Guild’s way of thanking Saint John’s dedicated healthcare staff for the compassionate care they provide to patients and the community each day. |

THINK PINK 2026 Thank you to everyone who joined us for Think Pink for Women’s Wellness 2026, the IDG annual fundraising event benefiting Providence Saint John’s Health Center. Guests enjoyed an inspiring day featuring Maria Shriver, award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and women’s health advocate, along with presentations from Providence Saint John’s physicians, boutique shopping, raffle prizes, and a shared commitment to advancing women’s health. Irene Dunne Guild members have been serving the health center for 37 years and remain committed to strengthening Saint John’s for our community. Like our namesake, Irene Dunne, we put our hearts forward, finding innovative ways to raise funds, comfort patients, educate our community, and nurture the Health Center's mission of compassionate care. We raise funds through our annual Patron Drive Fund and Think Pink for Women's Wellness to help Saint John's provide leading-edge medicine with unwavering compassion and personalized care. IDG SOCIAL ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE
The Social Activities Committee, chaired by Carol Bullock, works closely with the IDG President to create opportunities for members to connect in relaxed and enjoyable settings. Through small, informal gatherings, the committee organizes visits to local cultural venues, museums, art exhibitions, lectures, and nature walks, often followed by lunch. These outings allow Irene Dunne Guild members to spend time together, discover new places, and strengthen friendships while sharing meaningful experiences within the Guild community

October 27th, 2026 - Personal Styling and Shopping Service 11 am, SJHC Foundation, Conference Room. Past Events: June 24, 2026 - Adamson House Tour – Malibu. Docent-led tour of the historic Adamson House, followed by lunch nearby. February 17, 2026 - Providence Saint John’s Health Center Tour. Behind-the-scenes tours of hospital departments supported by Irene Dunne Guild donations and the Providence Saint John’s art collection. August 12, 2025 - UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden Tour. Guided garden tour followed by a non-hosted lunch. May 13, 2025 - Mindful Awareness & Self-Care Event at SJHC. A gathering focused on mindfulness, wellbeing, and self-care. |
