IDG FIRTS MEETING 2026

The Irene Dunne Guild kicked off the year with a well-attended General Meeting on January 22, 2026, at the Saint John’s Health Center Foundation offices in Santa Monica. Nearly 40 members and guests gathered for lunch and the first meeting under the new Board led by President Janis Gallo.
Following committee and officer reports, Sheryl A. Bourgeois, PhD, President & CEO of the Foundation, shared updates on Saint John’s Health Center.
One of the most meaningful moments of the meeting followed with the Allocations Presentations, led by Jill Robertson, Janis Gallo, and Panthea Shafipour. Morgan Culbertson presented a video highlighting IDG’s recent allocations, illustrating the tangible impact of the Guild’s fundraising and volunteer efforts.
Presentations included: Stephanie Baker (Magnet / Nursing Scholarship), Molly Wainstock (InBody Analyzer), Lisa Margolis and Kim Kalmanson (CFDC Equipment), and Jodene Stelley (NICU Kangaroo Chair). Each presentation offered a powerful reminder of how IDG’s work directly supports caregivers, scholarships, and essential hospital equipment across multiple departments at Saint John’s.
